YEAH, ABOUT THIS BLOG

Dear Reader,

Allow me to introduce myself.

I recently stepped from the shadows of the world of medicine into the sunlight of the writing.  Born in Pittsburgh, raised in Boston, I now live in Dallas TX where I am honing my craft.

I am also a jazz and classical singer, a loving husband and father, and the owner of a couple of pug dogs who share my writing space.

I envision this blog as a catchall of my random and occasionally organized ideas.  I may use it to preview a character study or a chapter from a novel in progress.  I may torture the reader with attempts at other writing forms such as poetry or drama.  Failing that, I have a backlog of movies and books that deserve comment and places I have seen that should also be noted.

I welcome any input.  Like something?  Hate something?  Please let me know so I can be sure that my blog voice has been heard.  And feel free to open topics of discussion or challenge me with prompts.  I am eager to flex my writing muscles and see what I am capable of doing.
